We just closed escrow on our vacation home at 121 Northstar Mall in Marina Del Rey. We were so very lucky to have had Damon Kronsberg as our agent and want to express our heartfelt gratitude for all of his professionalism and kindnesses, well beyond the call of duty, in helping us to navigate this process remotely in the midst of the Covid pandemic.
When we decided to list our home, there was no question that Damon would be our Realtor-of- choice. He had previously represented the seller of our home when we purchased it and, also, is the son of our neighbors across the street. We have seen Damon on a regular basis over the years when he visits his parents and know that he is extremely familiar with our neighborhood, plus, he is a genuinely nice guy and wonderful person.
At the time, we were in Ohio, not going anywhere due to Covid, and it became painfully apparent that we were not going to be able to travel back to California to do any home preparation. Damon came on the scene with tons of knowledge, enthusiasm and a roster of people to help make things happen. Imagine having strangers going through your things and packing your possessions, all via FaceTime. Damon’s referrals were excellent and, in order to put our minds at ease, he stayed in the house with the crew to alleviate any discomfort we had.
The list of extras that Damon took care of is long: he facilitated getting our car to the the transport shipment to Ohio, was at the house for the delivery of the POD and the pickup pf the POD when it was ready to go, shipped items back to us in Ohio, coordinated repairs with our contractor, represented us at inspections, and so on. There was never a time that he was too busy to take our calls, texts or emails, and he answered every question and discussed any issues that we had concerns over. When our first escrow cancelled, he gave us great advice and optimism. He promised us that he had our backs, and he did. At that point, we had the house completely emptied and again, with Damon’s knowledge of tech marketing and resources, he had the house re-photographed and virtually staged. It brought interest and before long, a buyer.
We know that no other Realtor could have, or would have provided us this level of expertise, enthusiasm, marketing knowledge, resources, encouragement, and most of all, personal service. We’ve seen Damon’s tagline, “meeting needs and exceeding expectations” in his emails and marketing materials.
In a world full of broken promises and Realtor hyperbole, it’s so refreshing to find someone willimg to go the extra mile and to be of help in any way possible. Anyone choosing to either sell or buy buy a house through Damon is beyond fortunate. We started with a trusted Realtor and ended with a trusted friend. The only bad part of concluding the sale of our house is that we will not be talking as frequently.
